PEOPLE WAKE UP!!! We are in the midst of losing one of our most valuable resources. I’m referring to our public lands. These include National Parks, National Forests, National Monuments and BLM lands. Developers, oil barons and short-minded politicians are the culprits. At the helm of the argument is the proposed oil development in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, or ANWR. As Americans we are the land. Without these vital treasures, we not only lose our identity, we lose a multi-billion dollar tourism, outdoor recreation and hunting industry. If you have not taken a closer look, you are part of the loss. If you have not emailed your Senator or Congressman or Congresswoman then you have let special interests take control of your vote! ACT! Do something! Support a group and let our government know that we are willing to sacrifice the $.02 per gallon for three months.
