Race Process in Route...

OK. So I've run my race idea past a couple of people and the jury is out on the idea. THEY LOVE IT! According to many of the people I've talked to they are psyched to see a hill climb event. Those same people have also guided me insofar on insurance, planning and coordination. My first step is contacting the county. I need to gather the necessary forms. These forms are called event forms. They inquire into the nature of the event, what the county will need to provide, dates, time, etc. Once the form is completed it goes before a committee where it is voted in or out.

The good news is I'm a ways out from the race and I have the time to put on a good one. I learned a good lesson today. It is always good to ask, if you don't know an answer...
