Have you been to the New River Gorge? What's it like? Do the bugs bite? Can you ride sick trails and climb world class routes in the same area? Oh, you can! Well, then why aren't more riders and climbers taking heed of the IMBA alert?
Yes, it's true. The International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) has created an alert so that you, me and all of our friends put forth our best effort to make sure our voices are heard. And who needs to hear them? The National Park Service (NPS) wants in put on this issue. Rapid development in the surrounding areas has put the trails, and the climbing, under threat of development, again. The NPS actually WANTS to hear your voice. Click here to take action.
Also, be sure to check out yourmtb.com's $5 IMBA donation for photo submissions. Not a bad way to help out - click here for details.
