Media Bias Is Real: Says UCLA-Led Study

Insane! This kind of treatment of an interview guest is exactly why Fox news IS a shame to US journalism. What would a small Kenyan boy think if he saw this? A news outlet should talk facts and not their opinion. This is why I choose not to watch Fox news - I don't even like writing the word...

BUT, are all media outlets immune? A recent UCLA-led study says - NO. What's more they rated them. Survey link is here...

"Overall, the major media outlets are quite moderate compared to members of Congress, but even so, there is a quantifiable and significant bias in that nearly all of them lean to the left," said co‑author Jeffrey Milyo, University of Missouri economist and public policy scholar.

Of the 20 major media outlets studied, 18 scored left of center, with CBS' "Evening News," The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times ranking second, third and fourth most liberal behind the news pages of The Wall Street Journal.

Only Fox News' "Special Report With Brit Hume" and The Washington Times scored right of the average U.S. voter.

The most centrist outlet proved to be the "NewsHour With Jim Lehrer." CNN's "NewsNight With Aaron Brown" and ABC's "Good Morning America" were a close second and third.

Oh, is this blog biased? Yes. Back when McCain was running for president the first time, I wrote him personally to say how much I believed in his message. I would've voted for him many times over. I was biased!

However, after learning more about the real McCain, I would do anything to take that letter back. If you're a conservative Christian, then you'll be happy to know that I also come from roots like yours - Oklahoma. BUT, after watching, reading, blogging, debating with friends and family, I've come to the opinion that there is only one candidate with the mental calculus to get us through these times........
