Creating Your Own Story...

Last night I watched the movie Notorious BIG. For those of you not as dope fresh as I am, the movie details the life of hip hop artist, Christopher Wallace, or Biggie Smalls Notorious BIG. Raised in the Brooklyn borough of New York City, Wallace grew up during the peak years of the 1980s crack epidemic and started dealing drugs at an early age. When Wallace released his debut album with the 1994 record Ready to Die, he was a central figure in the East Coast hip hop scene and increased New York's visibility at a time when West Coast artists were more common in the mainstream. Many would argue that Wallace created the East/West coast hip hop divide and conflict, which ultimately ended his short life. The movie is good, and I learned that Wallace and Faith Evans actually married... Anyway... This post is about creating your story, your narrative.
Imagine being able to create a movie about your life. Perhaps in the Wallace case, his family wanted to set the record straight by suggesting that the rapper conflict was all made up. Whatever the issue, your story is everything. If someone created a movie about your life who would star as you? Would there be any adventure? Where would they film your story? What about the conflict?
