Great Salesmanship Is A Way Of Life

An interesting post on Entrepreneur.com got me thinking about sales: the models, processes, and everything in between. The main point: salesmanship is part of one's life, and not a hat you can take on and off. They are right! And for those of you watching your skin crawl, just stop it! Salesmen are a good thing (I like to quote Malcolm Gladwell here):

Salesmen are the "persuaders",  charismatic people with powerful negotiation skills. They tend to have an indefinable trait that goes beyond what they say, which makes others want to agree with them.

A good trait, and not a bad thing... But something a good salesman develops over a lifetime.
