I'm still baffled as to why climbing shoe companies stopped adding the cushion on the heel of bouldering shoes. Of all the shoes needing some more cushion for the pushing (think: Pusher), it is a climbing shoe! We climb up the rock, and then we fall off the rock, what better way to protect our little feet than to add a little protection. I've been looking at new shoes and the 5.10 Vmile climbing shoe came to mind. What I like about the shoe is its simplicity of design. If you look at the design, it isn't that uncommon from the Anasazi. It has a straight-toe design that's not too agressive. In other words, comfort seems to be the point with the Vmile.
