Perspectives From A Wandering Mind...

One builds a dream, and works like hell to live it. There's no question that's where happiness comes from. And if we surround ourselves with good people, who encourage us to live that dream, that's where peace of mind comes from. As I'm pondering the upcoming adventures of my life, I'm left with a wandering, happy mind, and a peaceful one. But if you're the wandering type, one can only get here through exploration of the soul, or the planet.

We are a strange type: rested where we are, but always beyond our current space. We are larger than our own existence like that of a house plant outgrowing its master's pot. Content to know we've made it where we are, but planning, always planning for the next thing. Anxiety is our friend and foe. The next step pains us, it haunts our searches on Google maps. For there to be a life, we've got to know we can escape it. Home is really important to us too! Without it we have no base, no place to rest. Considering our flux in life, we cannot thrive without a grasp of our "own space". We are the creative type, the idealist, the irrational (we buy big trucks too). We wander, because that's who we are...

I'm looking forward to some summer travel this year... My wandering mind needs some space to breath, and to take in where my life is headed. Time to hit the road!
