This was a fascinating post as it demonstrates how great companies are similar to powerful communities - they help each other out, so that the whole will thrive. Very Platonic, yes, but such a powerful point. Imagine if you felt secure in your job, and that you knew your leader would bend over backward to protect your job! Imagine if there was no c-suite, but an openness of idea-sharing and engagement... Imagine if we all had security knowing such a work place as possible? How would that change your creativity, and possibilities?
